I don't know. He's suppose to be taller and all around just.....older. Its unrealistic to think he can grow and mature that much before March, but maybe he can pull it off. Though other people that I've heard that they are considering or just fan-opinions, are good and look to be perfect for an older Jacob Black. So, whatever happens I just hope that the movie turns out good.=)
Well, I don't want him to be. Not at all! But the sad truth is that he might be replaced by Michael Copon. The reason is that Taylor apparently doesn't fit the role of Jacob in New Moon. In New Moon it says that he towers of Bella. But, in reality, Taylor isn't that tall. The good news is that Taylor is always at the gym working out to get stronger for his part. But that won't help his height much. He would have been in it, no matter his size, if Catharine Hardwicke would be directing New Moon, but she's not. They have a new director. Well, I think Taylor needs to stay Jacob! =]
OMJ NO WAY should they replace him! when you read the books you can only ever picture him being jacob, and that michael guy who wants to replace him in an interview on youtube was like "who looks like an older taylor? well, me!" ER.... NO... TAYLOR looks like an older Taylor! have they SEEN him shirtless? he is way good enough to be an older jacob, besides, Alice in the books is short, and in the movie she isn't really that short, so who cares if Jacob isn't really tall, if they can use special effects to make Edward run 30mph, camera angles can make jacob look tall.peace*love*and*jonas-Sara Source(s): angry twilight fan >=(
Best Answer - Chosen by Voters Personally, I think that Taylor is a great Jacob. I heard that they might not cast him in New Moon, because he's not tall enough, or muscular enough. I do understand why there's a possibility that he won't be in New Moon, but I don't agree with it. Taylor Lautner has that Jacob charm, and I'd hate to see him not be cast as Jacob.
