Taylor Lautner played Jacob Black in the first movie, Twilight. I heard a rumor that they're getting rid of him for the second movie, New Moon. Now I'm a big fan of the book, not the movie. So he was the only thing I even remotely liked about the movie, and I'm ticked that he might not be in the next one. So I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it :)

Yes, Taylor Lautner won't play Jacob in the New Moon movie because in the second book, he is taller and he grows up faster, so they have to cast an older actor. It is said that MIchael Copon auditioned for the role, but most people believe that Stevn Strait should play Jacob since the character was based on Steven.

回复删除twilight lexicon usually has the most up to date info on all things twilight.If they get rid of him that would be a huge mistake. He IS Jacob. They could not have picked a better actor to play him. From the description of him in the book, Taylor could have been plucked from the pages. The problem they are having is that the physical changes Jacob goes through in the book are going to be difficult to duplicate on film.
